Pink Diamonds

Pink Argyle Diamonds

Pink diamonds are one of the rarest and most valuable natural commodities on earth. The recently decommissioned Argyle diamond mine in Australia was known as the largest source of high-quality pink diamonds in the world. Now only a small number of diamond mines continue to mine for these precious stones.

The pink diamonds from the Argyle mine are so unique that experienced diamantaires can often identify the origin of the diamond by looking closely into the stone. The pink colouring of an Australian pink diamond is so vibrant that regardless of the size, they are considered as an excellent investment.

We have a stunning selection of loose pink diamonds in store. Each stone is carefully hand-selected by our qualified gemmologist in various colours, cuts, and sizes. If you are looking for a pink diamond to invest in, or the perfect pink diamond to set in jewellery, talk with our team today.

We carry a select range of premium cut pink diamonds available in store.

Pink Diamonds Colour Grading

There are three important factors which determine the colour grade of a pink diamond, these are:

Hue

The dominant colour of the diamond. Sometimes there is a modifying colour or tint that affect the hue. For example, a diamond with a pink hue may have a purplish tint.

Tone

The amount of lightness or darkness in the diamond. The range of tone extends from light to dark.

Saturation

The strength in the pink of the hue. Hue saturation in pink diamonds can range from light to intense, and at the strongest, the saturation is said to be vivid.
