Our process to making jewellery

Turning the Dream into a reality

Phase 1.

Consultation

Let’s explore your vision and inspiration

To bring your dream to life, the journey starts with a personal consultation. Here you will have the chance to explore your options and share your vision.

You’ll have the opportunity to explore our selection of stones and gold pieces and choose the ones that suit your style.

We will also discuss and finalise a budget and timeline that meets your expectations.

Phase 2.

Designing

Our talented designers will usually hand sketch whilst talking to you.

Once your vision has been captured correctly, we will finalise these drawings with a computer aided image, which will be sent to you via email. Don’t feel pressured to accept the initial drawings – our process allows for adjustments, ensuring you receive your perfect piece.

At this stage we finalise the choice of stones and metal for your dream piece.

From your preference, a plastic model is printed on our inhouse resin model printers, which are ‘state of the art’. This produces a model from, which you will be able see the design, height, width and size of the finished ring.

Once again, even at this stage changes can be made.

Next you will be invited to view and experience the model firsthand, ensuring it perfectly reflects your vision.

Phase 3.

Creation

Here is where your dream becomes a reality!

Our very talented jewellers craft your chosen metal, be it Gold or Platinum, into the piece of jewellery that you have dreamed of.

The workshop is on our premises so any items of jewellery you have supplied never leave our care. This applies for any diamond or precious stone you have selected in your special piece.

You will receive an update to let you know how we are progressing and you are welcome to contact us at any time.

Phase 4.

Completion

The making of your piece of jewellery is now complete.

From here several people will take part in the quality assessment of the finished item. The jeweller who made the item, the workshop manager and the designer will all carefully examine the item to ensure it meets Sinclair’s first-class standards.

If you wish, we can also send you a high-definition picture of the finished item.

Phase 5.

The Reveal

We have the final inhouse meeting to unveil your jewellery – this makes for a magical experience for you and us.

Not only do you get to see the finished item, but you will also receive a Valuation (free of charge), advice on the care of your item and an invitation to experience our comprehensive ‘after sales service’ (also free of charge). This is an continued as an annual service.

All of this is presented to you in a beautifully boxed package, reflecting the care and attention to detail that brought your vision to life.

Photos will be provided, or if you request, we can present you with a video of the steps taken to create your piece at a small extra charge.
